Black and Minority Ethnic Young People's Project (BMEYPP)
16 hours per week, one year fixed term contract.
Salary NJC Scale Point 19 to 22 Pro rata depending on qualifications and experience.
The Black and Minority Ethnic Young People's Project aims to meet the needs of Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) young people aged 11 to 25 enabling them to reach their full potential.
We are seeking to employ a part time a Youth Support Worker to support the development and delivery of project activities.
The post will involve leading a range of sports, arts, and education projects with groups of young people and providing one to one support to individual young people.
We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and enthusiastic with experience of working with young people in youth work settings.
Due to the nature of the work involved we are seeking a BME youth worker who will reflect the membership criteria of the client group.
