Crawley Community Transport (CCT) is the transport charity providing a flexible and affordable transport service for the people of Crawley and surrounding area that are generally unable to access other mainstream public transport services either because they have physical, sensory or learning disabilities.
CCT provides transport to 'not for profit' community organisations that require accessible minibuses for a wide range of reasons. CCT is working with WSCC in providing transport for Children with disabilities to attend school.
CCT continues to expand and as a result are now looking for the following staff. For both positions an enhanced CRB check will be required. CCT is an equal opportunities employer.
DRIVER:
Various times by arrangement - Wage £7.20 per hour
Relief drivers are required:
Your licence must allow you to drive a minibus with up to 16 seats and must be clean. WSCC minibus permit preferred but training will be provided to obtain one.
While not part of the contract you will be advised of your driving times in advance and the minimum shift will be 4 hours.
OPERATOR ESCORT
Monday to Friday (term times only)
Wage: £5.95 to £6.50 per hour depending on experience
Hours of Work: 4 hours per day (7.30am to 9.30am AND 2.30pm to 4.30pm) (Actual times to be confirmed)
Role: Escort to assist in transport of five disabled children between Crawley and Horsham. You will be returned to Crawley.
Experience: Training in Epilepsy preferred but training will be provided
