Myth-Busting
The PIP Seminars are presented in partnership with regional organisations working in play and childcare in each of the nine English government regions. Our theme this time is 'Myth-Busting', where we hope to reconnect with good basic inclusive playwork practice. We are gathering myths around inclusion of disabled children in play and are planning on setting the record straight!
We are pleased to confirm our national partner for this round of PIP seminars is the Children's Workforce Development Council (CWDC), who will be delivering presentations and joining in the debate at each event (subject to election purdah finishing by the time the seminars start!) There will be the opportunity for discussion and networking with other practitioners as always, and the day will offer anyone working towards inclusion in play the opportunity to build on and share their experiences; showcase examples of good practice and to exchange information, advice and guidance.
