Worthing Women's Aid are hosting a Freedom Programme Conference at the Charmandean Centre, Worthing.
The conference will give delegates an introduction to the Nationally Acclaimed Freedom Programme, which we are currently running in Bognor, Littlehampton and Worthing. Programme creator, Pat Craven will be our main speaker, she developed this challenging and motivating training following over ten years of 'hands on' work with violent men. Pat will help you to understand the beliefs held by abusive men and help women gain self-esteem and confidence. As statistics identify that a woman is murdered by a man every three days and heaven knows the impact of this crime on children. We would like every woman experiencing domestic abuse or who just keeps meeting 'Mr Wrong' to undertake the 'Freedom Programme Experience'.
The day will also include the ground breaking play 'Lady in Red'.
This definitive conference brings together two leading forces in the field of domestic violence to challenge, inspire and engage you in the issues like never before.
The cost for the day is £10.00. Lunch and refreshments will be provided together with an information pack including the book 'Living with the dominator'. If you wish to attend, please can you complete the attached booking form.
The day is aimed at anyone working with individuals/families/children involved in domestic abuse.
