CVS-A will work towards empowering marginalised sections of our community.

CVS-A will help the voluntary sector in Arun develop by supporting existing groups as they grow and expand; advising new groups as they are set up and providing access to relevant information to all voluntary and community groups across the district.

CVS-A aims to encourage the voluntary sector to improve their management skills through a combination of training and one-to-one support for individual groups.

CVS-A will identify and work with under-resourced and isolated groups, signposting to funding and opportunities which will help them start, develop and thrive.

CVS-A will ensure that the voice of the voluntary sector is heard on the various partnership bodies that currently exist and are emerging in Arun.

CVS-A will promote the importance of the voluntary sector to all parts of the community.

CVS-A will work to develop its staff, management committee and other volunteers to enable voluntary organisations to gain maximum benefit from their relationship with us.
