I was approached by a Village Hall that is in desperate need of restorative and refurbishment work. I met with the committee and as the hall was a war memorial, we openly looked at Heritage Lottery online. This hall is an ideal project for major Heritage Lottery funding. They are now working on a budget.
I encountered a failed sense of disappointment from them as a previous failed bid elsewhere needed breaking down.
The committee is now much more positive and hopeful and highly encouraged with Heritage Lottery.
